A couple of years ago, one of my siblings was diagnosed with Colon Cancer and to this day, is still a great warrior. She was in the hospital for a long while and was being watched over by my siblings and parents. My dad, at that time was not aware that he himself had Lung Cancer...and He passed on early last year.
This was my second Colonoscopy and I was happy I went in again. I am so grateful for having a great team at the Hoag Endoscopy Center headed by Dr Christopher Evan Lee. They are a wonderful team and an office of warm atmosphere starting at the front reception to the back while prepping a patient all the way to where "things happen" and the recovery room. And I love that they follow up to make sure you are OK the following day of the procedure.
On Saturday, January 20, 2018, my husband and I are running for a cause for an non profit organization called Stripes of A Warrior. It will be a fun one for both of us because I am not sure if we are going to do HIIT's or actual endurance. But one thing is for sure, we are doing the entire 5K!
How about you, what have you got planned?
Peace and Love.
